From September 4 to 6, 2024, the 7th International Conference on Smart Monitoring, Assessment and Rehabilitation of Civil Structures (SMAR) took place in Salerno, Italy. The SMAR provided a platform for numerous people from academia and industry to present and discuss their research findings and practical experiences in the field of monitoring, assessment, and rehabilitation of civil structures.
The SPP 100+ was represented with a total of ten contributions at the conference and organized a mini-symposium titled "Intelligent Digitalization in Structural Health Monitoring and Lifetime Maintenance of Complex Structures." During this mini-symposium, 16 researchers presented their approaches to extend the service life of structures through the use of intelligent digitalization.
